Let them eat cake

This editorial depicts this spring seasons pastel craze with a kitschy, sea punk twist. We love the candy-coated cake set, the saccharine baker's frock and the 50s sweet 15 art direction. Girls really are made of sugar, spice and everything nice!

The Illusionist

Things have gotten really crazy around here at the Indie Queen headquarters. Some exciting new projects are in store for the upcoming year. Although we will always be loyal to our vintage heritage and stock fabulous one-of-a-kind pieces, when Guy and Girl boutique from the Shelborne hotel came knocking for a collaborative collection, our stylists and designer team couldn't have been more excited to get to work. We starting with our signature silk crepe de chine shorts in vintage printed fabric. New styles in throwback prints and colors. Can't wait to show you the samples!

Though I'd share these photos from Brooklyn based photographer Henry Hargreaves. Found him on Dripbook and died over all of his pictures. His concepts and narratives really speak for themselves.

Soda Pop

Pur

This editorial featured this month in Purple Mag caught my eye. The saturated burst of color coming from the backdrop really make the otherwise monochrome clothing pop. I especially love the hot pink with black leather crocodile skirts. Femme fatale chic.
